Notes are a way for administrators to add donor-specific notes for other administrators to see. Notes are only visible to administrators - donors cannot see the notes added to their account. Individual notes are saved with the creator's name and timestamp, and are shown in chronological order.


Notes are shown in the Donor Detail page, underneath the Tags block. If you have Pledging enabled for your organization, then the Notes block is a full-width section underneath the Tags block. If you don't have Pledging enabled for your organization, then the Notes block is a half-width block to the right of the Donor Activity section.

Creating Notes

From the Donor Detail page, find the Notes block and press Create New Note in the upper right corner of the box. Write your note in the input field that appears, then press Save to add the note. You can also format the text by highlighting the text and pressing one of the three formatting buttons at the top.


Deleting Notes

From the Donor Detail page, find the Notes block then press the "Trash" icon in the lower-left corner of the note you'd like to delete.
