If you use another system outside of GivingFire to track donors and donation records, you can add donor IDs from that system to pair the records together and make importing easier.


  1. From the Donor Detail page, press the green "Edit" button at the top-left of the page. This will allow you to edit donor information.
  2. Find the section labeled "3rd Party Donor IDs". 
  3. Enter in the value and hit Submit.


3rd-party donor IDs are automatically included in donor and transaction exports when those IDs are present. If you have a large list of IDs to import, GivingFire staff may be able to help automate the process. Contact us at support@givingfire.com or open a support ticket, and we'll see what we can do.
