There are a few other settings you can enable for your donation page which will allow you to collect more information. Some organizations want a quick, compact donation form, while others want to collect as much information as possible. You can choose based on the needs of your particular organization. Get here by going to Settings > Organization:

Require Donor Address

A simple contact information form only asks for the donor's full name, phone, and email. A full contact information form also asks for the donor's address. We recommend full donor contact information for tax-reporting purposes.

When enabled, GivingFire will require donors to enter their full address. If a donor is logged in, we'll only ask once and save the address for future donations. Guests will always need to enter their full address.

Donor Covered Fees

Enabling this option will give your donors the choice to help pay the processing fee associated with their donation. If they select to cover the fees for their donation, GivingFire will automatically calculate and add the 2.5% processing fee to their donation. For instance, if a donor donates $100 and selects the Donor Covered Fee option, their total will be $102.50 which they can confirm before processing their donation. Processing fees are tax-deductible and will be included in giving statements that GivingFire generates.

Optional Comments

This adds an additional form field where donors can write personal notes attached to their donation. Be careful with this option. GivingFire does not recommend you use donation pages for non-donation payments; i.e., accepting event registration fees. This interferes with our tax-reporting functionality and may require you to do additional compliance on your tax reporting.

Captcha for Guests

When enabled, GivingFire will require guests to complete a CAPTCHA before they can give. A CAPTCHA is a program that protects websites against bots by generating and grading tests that humans can pass but current computer programs cannot. This feature helps to prevent fraudulent transactions from being processed through your online giving portal.
